No, it's Bare Metal Foil. Just applied with a shaky hand to get that low-rent feel.

Haha, I've got a tube of Ricer Wrap (Fake Carbon Fiber) sitting around, I might have to give that a shot also.

Autozone. It's "High Performance" apparently.

BWAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAH!
*ahem*
Oh, cool. Now I can finally make my trusty Model M keyboard non-beige. Thanks for the tip!

Haha, +Respect for using a Buckling Spring. I use a Shitty Adesso Mx blue.

I like that. He needs to lower it.

I agree. Since it's all show, it could use a little low.
It's pretty funny how upset that truck makes some people in the car clubs here (Texas).

Oh, wow. I just noticed the exhaust.. He needs to colour that exhaust bright red.
Maybe some Dekotora stuff?

He's working on setting up some external flood lights, so I think he's well on his way to being an honorary Dekotora. The teal is a new thing for him, but I'll bug him to recolor his pipes. Probably more difficult since he'll need to use a nice high temp enamel or something.

Haha, I got the cheapest Chery Mx Blue keyboard on Amazon. I'm really considering one of those Unicomp Model M replicas though.

With the programmable macro keys? Not sure it's worth it. Mine's original, and I paid like 2.50 for it.

I believe so. The prices are skyrocketing on the old Model M keyboards. I've got an old Ps2 adapter sitting around somewhere, I could just buy an older one from the 90's and fix it up a bit.
Just curious, What kind of place did you get yours at?

"Scrap Exchange". You find the wierdest crap there.
(My current, concert-quality sound system is sourced entirely from the Scrap Exchange with the exception of the CD player).

Huh, visited their website. Seems like a nice place. I'm up in Va, but I will find a way to get my hands on a cheap old one.
